Request Funding

The Trust invites introductions to organizations in the Greater Newton area that focus on food insecurity, early childhood education, childcare, and social justice.

If you think that your organization fits the criteria, please submit a short letter of inquiry using the form below or by emailing contact@hausertrust.org. If you have already received funding from the Trust in prior years, or have had an introductory converstation, you do not need to submit a new letter of inquiry. Requests will be considered on a running basis. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • No more than two paragraphs;

  • Describe the mission of your organization and how it is aligned with that of the Trust. View our mission by clicking here.

  • Describe briefly your organization’s most pressing financial need. This could be opportunities to sustain existing operations or to start something new.

  • Your organization must be a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit or intending to be registered by the time of funding distribution.

Requests will be considered by the board and organizations contacted thereafter. The board may request to have a conversation with a member of your organization, and follow up information may be required.
